Learning activeness is an important element of an effective learning process because it reflects students' behavioral, cognitive, emotional, and social engagement. Active students do not merely listen to the teacher, but also ask questions, express opinions, participate in discussions, solve problems, complete assignments, and reflect on their learning. This article aims to analyze teaching strategies that may improve student learning activeness in the context of schools in Julok District, East Aceh Regency. The study employed a narrative literature review by examining books, journal articles, research findings, and official publications related to active learning, cooperative learning, problem-based learning, questioning strategies, learning media, classroom environment, and formative assessment. The review indicates that learning activeness can be strengthened through active and cooperative learning, the use of problems and local contexts, varied questioning and discussion, purposeful learning media, a safe classroom environment, and continuous formative assessment and feedback. The effectiveness of these strategies depends on the teacher's ability to plan activities, distribute participation opportunities fairly, adapt instruction to classroom conditions, and conduct evaluation and reflection. Implementation in Julok District should consider student characteristics, school levels, available facilities, and the surrounding village environment.
